California Indica Seeds - Sensi Seeds

This seed comes from a special strain of California Orange Bud crossed with an excellent Afghan hash plant, adding weight, speed and a deep hashish undertone to the deliciously citrus-scented mother. 'Orange Bud' is sometimes used as a generic term for any thick Indica with dense orange hairs, whether it has a citrus taste and smell or not. Generic marijuana should never be confused with true California Orange Bud. Genuine orange-colored strains have been grown outdoors for many years in the near-perfect cannabis climate on America's west coast.

As different branches have been grown from seed over a huge area for generations, OB has a wide variety of fabulous phenotypes, from mostly Sativa to almost pure Indica, depending on the choices the grower makes. Abundant orange-colored hairs are normal with any strain of California Orange Bud, and an irresistible sweet-sharp citrus flavor is the truly distinctive feature of this line.

Sensi's California Indica is bred from a massive Orange Bud mother who produces huge yields and whose mix of traits leans toward Sativa. The California's long flowering and open-top tendency are kept in check by breeding with the superb Afghan father used in the creation of Sensi's Hash Plant seed variety - the 50/50 HP/NL#1 cross.

The crossed result is sturdy, compact and quick - clearly bringing California back to the Indica side of the family while retaining enough of the original sun-soaked high to heighten and lighten the deep Afghanica body-buzz. Of course, the distinctive, citrus fruit aroma is preserved in California Indica and some specimens are enhanced with the resinous flavor of Hash Plant to produce a rich bitter orange bouquet that lingers on the tongue like a fine liqueur or dark chocolate.

The sparkling layer of plant hairs covering the buds and leaves is inherited from both parents and is thick enough to make satisfactory quantities of hand-rubbed or sifted hash of the California Indica. California Indica regular seeds produce both male and female cannabis plants.
