Aqua Master - Combo Pen P160 Pro

The Combo Pen P160 Pro from Aquamaster Tools is suitable for measuring the pH, EC, PPM, TDS value and temperature of feed water and culture medium for plants. This combo meter has been renewed and is now improved so that the calibration solution does not necessarily have to be 25°C. This allows you to calibrate the meter without deviations. In addition, the device has a new modern robust housing. If the electrode is broken or worn you can easily replace it. The Combo meter is easy to use and you can easily switch between the parameters. This product is delivered with batteries in a sturdy storage case including 4.01, pH 7.00 and EC 14.13 calibration solutions. The meter is already calibrated and is ready to use immediately. With the supplied calibration solutions the meter can be calibrated at a later time. 

EC and pH value Cultivating Cannabis Plants

When growing cannabis plants it is important to know the EC and pH values of the soil and water. The growth of the plants can be affected by a too high or too low pH/EC value. For example, if the pH value is too high then certain nutrients may not be fully absorbed. The EC value shows how much nutrient is in the water and soil. Based on this you can see if your weed plants need nutrition but also if they have had too much nutrition. 

How does the Combo Pen work?

1. Take off the protective cap.
2. Clean the electrode with distilled water and dry it.
3. Turn the meter on with the on/off button.
4. Insert the meter straight into the solution (up to the rim) and stir gently.
5. After a few seconds, the correct value will appear in the display.
6. To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit press the Temp/CAL key.
7. To switch between pH and EC, press the PH/EC button.
8. Make sure the meter is in EC mode to switch between EC, TDS and PPM. Then press and hold the PH/EC key
9. for more than 5 seconds to switch parameters.
10. After use, rinse the electrode clean with water and press the Power button to turn the meter off.
11. The electrodes are designed to be stored dry. The use of storage solution is not necessary with this meter.
