Afghan and North Indian strains give Early Girl her raw mostly Indica characteristics and the fine Sativa influence was inherited from a distant Mexican ancestor at great height. Early Girl makes her biggest buds on a single main stem. The tallest branches stay close together, so their flower clusters are able to mingle with the central cola. If her lower branches are not pruned, they can grow almost as tall as the main stem by the end of the off-season, so that their large dense buds do appear to 'orbit' around the final bud. Early Girl regular seeds produce both male and female cannabis plants.
