Herer's sublime gene pool has been refined and the desired traits have been largely enhanced through backcrossing. For many generations we have injected our favorite Herer mother with a balanced mix of Super Skunk and Haze, and after each stage we have done rigorous selection and testing.

Jack Flash is the triumphant result of this breeding program - through inbreeding she has retained the size and vigor of her Afghan Skunk ancestors, without sacrificing any of Herer's precious Haze high. In isolating this special balance of traits, Jack Herer's four common phenotypes were reduced to two strains that recur in Jack Flash, representing the contrasting sides of her heritage. The Indica strain is compact enough for Sea of Green (SOG) and has a rapid and very distinctive bud development. The calyxes grow to unheard-of sizes and pile on top of each other to form resin-saturated strands that form multi-pointed crowns on the terminal buds.
