Another incredible cross that has its roots in the Jack Herer breeding program, this next generation Sativa is one of Sensi's more recent creations. Mother's Finest was an instant hit upon release and won first place for a Sativa at the 2002 Cannabis Cup just a few months later.

Mother's Finest is more of a Haze-like sprout from the Herer line than a direct Jack descendant. But like Jack Flash, Mother's Finest is best described as deliberately tuning the many facets of the Jack Herer gene pool. Jack Herer sits right at the Sativa-Indica dividing point, Jack Flash is a heavy Skunk variety, and our beautiful Mother's Finest - with its sweet and sour flavor rush and delectable cerebral high - represents the dominant Haze side of the family.

Of course, most of Mother's Finest's leaning toward Sativa require the full flowering time, which is still a considerably shorter period than comparable Haze crosses. Less frequent phenotypes with a stronger Indica influence can reach maturity within eight weeks.

Growth Pattern Regular Seeds

Mother's Finest gains height quickly during flowering, even in her more Indica form, so growers with limited height should bring her to fruition early. Like other, mostly Sativa, hybrids, this strain can be propagated year-round as rooted cuttings or small seedlings. These regular seeds produce both male and female cannabis plants.

The divine appearance and aroma of Mother's Finest in full bloom will delight any cannabis lover, even the most devoted Sativa worshipper. Her cone-shaped bud formation takes shape early during flowering when abundant branches of long-haired calyxes sprint along the stem and branches to reach the clusters on each stem member. Later, spear-shaped colas expand to form impressive lime-green stalactites with crystal-covered buds.

As her pistil darkens, the calyxes of Mother's Finest swell and harden, maximizing the area available for the resin glands to multiply. Some phenotypes show extra vigorous production and push the calyxes into the shape of miniature spires at the top and sides of the large buds, giving the main colas an evil horn-like appearance. Musky, fruity skunk and earthy Afghanica elements are clearly detectable alongside the sharp pine Haze aroma of Mother's Finest's buds.
