Is Amnesia a Haze strain?

Amnesia and Amnesia Haze are two well-known cannabis strains with some differences. Every seed bank has these strains in their assortment. There is a lot to choose from because these popular strains have been mixed and crossed. Both strains are Sativa dominant with a high THC percentage but have different genetics. Growing Amnesia or Amnesia Haze is not difficult but keep in mind that some cannabis seeds can grow into large cannabis trees. The original haze plant is long weed with a long flowering time, sometimes double that of Indica plants. The buds of a haze plant, like most pure Sativas, are long and thin with large gaps between them. Haze is loved for its unique smell, taste and strong psychedelic high.

Where Does The Original Haze Come From?

The Original Haze is not a landrace but a 100% Sativa cross of landraces from Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and India. The original haze strain was grown in California in the 1970s. David Paul Watson, also known as the Skunk man, brought the cannabis strain to Amsterdam.

Crosses With Amnesia

The Haze genetics have been used by various seed banks over the years. Often the strains have been crossed with Indica genetics, making them no longer pure Sativas. The advantage is that these strains have a shorter flowering time which makes it possible to grow haze varieties outdoors in Holland or Belgium.
